Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms were slight hit-makers in the 1990s with tunes like "Run Around" and "Hey Jealousy." The bands weren't quite dangerous enough to be truly alternative, and they weren't pop enough to make a bunch of songs that charted over a long run of years.
Still, they carved out a niche along with the Spin Doctors and Hootie and the Blowfish that people liked, even if you would never compare the bands to more legendary ones. In concert, they were solid performers who knew how to entertain.
That was proven again in 2025 when Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms co-headlined a tour together. Spin Doctors went along for the ride. In 2026, Spin Doctors will be left out, but Blues Traveler and Gin Blossoms will be hitting the road together again.

And they don't cheat fans, either. This isn't some reunion of popular 1990s bands that only lasts for about five cities. Instead, the bands will criss-cross the country beginning in early July and not stopping until they reach Traverse City, Michigan, on September 19.
Tickets for the shows went on sale on Friday, January 23, and you can go to Blues Traveler's official website for more information. There is one catch. Tickets seem to be a bit too pricey for the bands involved.
