He will be doing at least one show in the United States.

Bad Bunny is fresh off a residency in his native Puerto Rico, an extended run that broke records. He also announced he will follow that up with a world tour, but none of those dates will happen in the United States. That was intentional.

While Bad Bunny himself might not be worried about ICE raids (that would be a terrible look for ICE, for sure), he is concerned about his fans' safety if he does shows in the US. Puerto Rico is a US territory, and therefore, the people are US citizens, but that doesn't seem to matter overly much, unfortunately.

But the hip-hop icon will be doing at least one performance in the continental United States, and fans globally will get to watch. It was announced recently that the performer will be the Super Bowl LX halftime entertainment. This means that the show will almost certainly be excellent.

Bad Bunny chosen to the Super Bowl LX halftime performer

The hip hop legend knows how to put on great concerts. Even if his little snippets on Saturday Night Live when he was the musical guest are magical. Giving him 13 minutes to do a gig in front of the largest audience in global history when it comes to American football is going to be even better.

The halftime show is produced by Apple Music and Roc Nation, and the game will be played on February 8 in Santa Clara, California.

One might wonder if some of the dates on his upcoming tour will need to be adjusted, however. Bad Bunny has a show scheduled in Chile for the three days before the Super Bowl. Maybe he can pull off some magic and get ready for the gig in Chile and be in California the next day for the halftime performance.

The Latin legend will also host SNL on October 4. He won't be the musical guest, however. That will be Doja Cat.
