In 2024, Bob Dylan decided to do a tour, but he never said when it would end. He still hasn't, and he keeps doing shows. He had previously announced 2026 dates and has now added to that run.
The new dates begin in early June and will be mostly on the West Coast. He does have a show in Oklahoma and Arizona, and has two gigs in Virginia in late July. We won't say that he finishes his tour then, however. He might add even more dates at some later time.
What should you expect from the 84-year-old's concerts? Mostly about the same as always, but with one change in 2026. He will have opening acts, which this year include Lucinda Williams and John Doe Folk Trio. Either of those artists is worth seeing on their own, so why not see them with Bob Dylan?
Bob Dylan announces new run of 2026 dates: Here they are
Otherwise, Dylan will come onto the stage, not say much (if anything), do his songs, and leave. If you are looking for long and rambling rants about whatever, the Dylan gigs are not the ones for you.
Think the Pixies, only not as punk or loud. Both musical acts are great, though.
Tickets for the new Dylan dates will be made available to the general public on Friday, March 27, at 10 am local time. For more information, you can check out Dylan's website.
