Fans finally have a reason to celebrate: Bruno Mars is back. The singer, songwriter, and performer confirmed that his fourth solo album is officially finished, ending nearly a decade-long wait since his last solo release.
Over the years, Mars has built a reputation for dominating the charts with hits like “Just the Way You Are” and 24K Magic, while also shining in collaborations with Anderson .Paak, Lady Gaga, Adele, and B.o.B.
Even though it’s been almost 10 years since his last solo album, Mars has never really disappeared. In 2022, he formed Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paak, releasing smooth hits like “Leave the Door Open” and “777.”

He also teamed up with Lady Gaga in 2024 for the duet “Die With a Smile” on her album Mayhem, and collaborated with Rosé from Blackpink on the viral track “APT.,” which has already been nominated for multiple Grammy awards. His work with Sexyy Red on “Fat, Juicy and Wet” last year showed he’s still experimenting and keeping up with today’s music scene.
On Monday, January 5, Mars updated fans on X (formerly Twitter) with a simple but exciting message: “My album is done.” The funny truth is that he posted almost the exact same tweet 10 years ago, back in 2016, before dropping 24K Magic. That post quickly set social media buzzing, as fans remembered the start of his last era and immediately began speculating about his upcoming music.

24K Magic, released in 2016, became a major success, spawning hits like the title track, “That’s What I Like,” “Finesse” (remixed with Cardi B), and “Versace on the Floor.” The album won Album of the Year at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards and has since been certified triple-platinum.
Now, with a decade of new experiences, collaborations, and creative growth under his belt, Bruno Mars’ next solo album is highly anticipated.
While we don’t know the tracklist yet, it’s safe to expect the mix of catchy hooks, smooth ballads, and genre-blending sounds that have defined his career. The announcement proves one thing: Bruno Mars is ready to remind the world why he remains one of the most dynamic voices in pop, R&B, and hip hop. The wait is over, and Mars’ fans can finally rejoice.
