Cardi B is miffed at Stefon Diggs, and she proved so recently during a concert, but more on that in a minute. Let's start with how much laughter the singer had on Wednesday after the New England Patriots informed wide receiver Diggs (and the world) that he would be released after just one season.

In other words, Diggs has not been having the best of times in the last month. His team was smashed by the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX in early February, a game in which Cardi B performed with Bad Bunny at halftime and then left. Before the game, most didn't know that the singer and the player had broken up.

Diggs seemingly made things worse by having at least another woman at the game to watch him play. While he might have been focused on football, he appeared to have a lot of other things on his mind, too. Not something the Patriots would have likely loved.

At a concert on February 27 in San Francisco, Cardi B let loose on Diggs, telling the crowd, "It’s called the principle. You can’t be out here playing with a b**** like me. There’s (expletive) out here praying for a b**** like me. You hear me? I’m too sexy to be lonely and too grown to be played with."

The positive for Diggs, who had a solid season but had far too high a cap hit in 2026 for New England to move forward with him, is that he has probably made enough money in his career to never play again and live comfortably. ($157,171,681 total, according to Spotrac.)

Cardi B isn't quite at that level yet, according to various sites. Her net worth is maybe $100 million. Still more than most, but not as much as Diggs. Yet.

Of course, unlike the football player, the performer has a lot of her career left. By the time she is done, she will almost certainly have made a lot more money than Stefon Diggs. As for the soon-to-be-former New England Patriots wide receiver, he might be done in the NFL at age 32.

Besides, he obviously will now have more time to spend on the rest of his life. That probably is quite taxing and requires a lot of planning. There just won't be any planning to do with Cardi B.
