One of the great arguments in the history of rock is which frontman for Van Halen was the best. The answers can be divisive because each signer had a different style. Sammy Hagar had a good voice, but tried too hard to be entertaining. David Lee Roth was quite the opposite.
If you are one who likes Roth better, you are in luck. The singer won't be touring with Van Halen, of course, but he is doing a fairly expansive solo tour this year. The shows will start in April and run through June before the performer takes a month off and returns for one date in August.
Pre-sale tickets for the gigs went on sale on Tuesday, January 6, at 10 am local time, and are available to the general public on Friday, January 9, at 10 am local time.

As far as what to expect from the shows, you can expect some Van Halen numbers as well as work from Roth's solo career. Almost all of the songs will be familiar. the singer hasn't released a solo album in two decades.
