Def Leppard has to be one of the hardest-working hair metal bands of the 1980s. To be sure, that moniker doesn't really fit them, but they will forever be linked to lesser groups such as Ratt. Def Leppard was smarter than your average band, and their songs held more weight.
But while they seemingly disappeared for a decade or so, there is simply no missing them in the last few years. They have toured with Journey, headlined with Motley Crue, and did a show with Living Colour. Joe Elliot and his mates have been a bit of everywhere, and left memories where they've gone.
The truth is that while Def Leppard isn't producing as many classic albums as they once did (although their 2022 release, Diamond Star Halos, was really good), they have never lost their mojo live. They are worthy of a ticket, and you will not be displeased by the performance.
Def Leppard announces 2026 tour dates
The good news is that the band will do a long run of shows in 2026, but while the tour is billed as a worldwide run, the truth is that the gigs in the United States are all part of a residency in Las Vegas. If you live in the US and want to see the band, you'll need to travel.
