Mannequin Pussy is a Philadelphia punk band. Wednesday is a North Carolina-based countrygaze group. They seemingly have little in common, but they definitely do.
The most important part, as it relates to future activities, is that both are fantastic live. If you haven't gotten to see either, you're in luck because you can go see the bands on the same dates and at the same venues beginning on October 30. The groups are heading out on what they are calling the Bitch Cabal Tour.
Besides their elite performances, both bands are female-fronted, and both frontwomen (and all the members of Mannequin Pussy) are gems of the music world. When general public tickets go on sale, which they do on Friday, June 26, at 10 am local time, you should call off work, sit in front of your computer, and hit "buy" the first chance you have.
Mannequin Pussy and Wednesday are teaming up for a can't-miss tour
On most dates, the bands will be supported by Snõõper, a Nashville-based egg punk band (egg punk, you see, is punk that doesn't take itself too seriously; in other words, it's high entertainment). Interestingly, for Mannequin Pussy and Wednesday's Nashville show, the bands will be supported by Raleigh-based Truth Club.
Wednesday's most recent album was 2025's Bleeds, which received favorable reviews because it's excellent and unique. Mannequin Pussy released their latest bon mot in 2024. I Got Heaven was the group's fourth studio record.
Before they begin their tour with Wednesday, Mannequin Pussy will be playing several shows with the Foo Fighters and Queens of the Stone Age, and a couple with Amyl and the Sniffers in Dublin, Ireland.
