Who knew Gorillaz would be so popular? Maybe the whole project goes to show just how brilliant Damon Albarn is at creating music. The Blur frontman has found success with two different bands for completely different reasons.

Albarn formed Gorillaz with his artist friend Jamie Hewlett nearly 30 years ago, and the "band" has since made nine albums together. The most recent of which, The Mountain, was released on February 27. Why not follow that with a tour? And that is exactly what Albarn and friends are doing.

The 22-date North American leg will begin in mid-September and run through the end of October. Tickets for the show go on sale at varying times. The KONG Card presale starts on Wednesday, March 4, at 10 am local time. A Citi card presale starts on the same day at 12 pm local time and ends at 10 am local time on Thursday, March 5.

Gorillaz announces a slew of 2026 North American dates

On Friday, March 6, a Gorillaz artist presale begins at 10 am local time. If you don't want to sign up for any of the previous presales, you can be like everyone else in the general public and purchase tickets beginning at 10 am local time on Monday, March 9. Tickets can be found on the band's official site.

Gorillaz will be supported on the tour by Little Simz on most dates and Deltron 3030 at all shows.

If you are completely sure that you want to spend good money on watching Albarn perform, you can watch Saturday Night Live, on which Gorillaz is the musical guest, on March 7, and that should help you decide. The host will be Ryan Gosling.
