Hailey Bieber is stepping into a new era, and it has nothing to do with fashion runways or beauty launches. The Rhode Beauty founder is embracing motherhood in a way that feels grounded, honest, and surprisingly relaxed. While the world still sees her as a style icon, at home she’s simply “Mom.”

In a recent conversation on Therapuss with Jake Shane, Hailey shared heartfelt reflections about raising her son, Jack Blues, and what the future might hold for her growing family with Justin Bieber. The update felt personal, less celebrity headline, more real-life check-in.

For fans of pop culture and even the wider rap and hip-hop world that often overlaps with Justin’s musical influence, this chapter marks a softer, more intimate side of the Bieber story. And it sounds like it’s only just beginning.

Hailey Bieber on motherhood and expanding the Bieber family

Hailey made it clear she’s not closing the door on having more children. In fact, she sounds open to wherever life takes her.

“I’m taking it one kid at a time,” she said. “I definitely do want one more. I’m not in a rush. Definitely want one more. Maybe I’ll have four more, maybe I’ll have three. I don’t know. I really don’t know. I’m just taking it one day [at a time].”

That balance of certainty and calm says a lot. She knows she wants to grow her family, but there’s no strict timeline. It’s a mindset that feels mature, especially in a world where celebrity family plans often become public pressure.

Hailey and Justin welcomed their son, Jack Blues, in August 2024, nearly five years after getting married. While Justin has spoken in the past about wanting a big family, he has also made it clear that the final say belongs to Hailey. And for now, she’s leading with patience.

Baby Jack Blues: a little star in the making

Jack Blues is already showing signs of personality, and maybe even musical instincts.

Hailey shared that her son has developed language skills and is deeply into sports, just like his dad. “He’s running, he’s kicking a soccer ball, he’s throwing the soccer ball. He’s into all of it,” she said. “He talks a lot about basketball,” Hailey said about the toddler. “He says basketball all the time. I went to get him up from his nap today, and he was like, ‘Basketball?’ ... He also just started saying please… He goes, ‘Peas.’ It’s so cute.”

Then came a full-circle moment for pop and hip hop fans alike.

“He's been saying, 'Baby, oh, baby, oh, baby, oh...'” she said, referencing Justin’s 2010 hit "Baby." “Literally in the last two days. That is so crazy.”

For longtime followers of Justin’s career, from teen pop star to global music icon with deep ties to R&B and hip hop culture, hearing his child sing his lyrics feels symbolic. Music clearly runs in the family.

A relaxed approach to first-time parenting

Before Jack was born, Hailey always believed she wanted to be a mother. Still, nothing fully prepares you for that first baby.

“It, honestly, is so much fun,” she said. “It’s a whole bunch of you just don’t know what’s gonna happen until you get there. Something that surprised me, though, is I feel like I’m a lot more relaxed as a mom than I thought I would be… especially as a first-time mom. I realized that you just figure it out as you go. Every single day, you just figure out how to be a parent.”

Something is refreshing about that honesty. No perfect blueprint. No polished celebrity parenting manual. Just daily learning.

And maybe that’s what makes this chapter feel so relatable. Beyond the fame, the tours, and the global music headlines, this is simply a young family figuring things out, one day at a time.
