Hilary Duff is having quite an impressive year. Officially returning to music after a decade hiatus with the release of her album Luck... or Something in February, the former Disney Channel star is enjoying a well-received comeback. While she’s starred on a handful of TV shows over the years, most notably Younger and How I Met Your Father, fans had been desperately waiting for her to return to the studio.

Along with multiple tours, talk show appearances, and other opportunities to promote her musical comeback, Duff is now adding “SI Swimsuit model” to her resume, gracing one of the covers of the 2026 magazine. FanSided’s sister site had the pleasure of traveling with Duff to the gorgeous South Caicos where she was photographed by Kat Irlin.

While on set with SI Swimsuit, Duff discussed how her relationship with her body has changed over the years. “I can look at my body now and appreciate all the things it has done for me,” she said. “I no longer find that I am constantly comparing myself—and that is a better place to exist.”

Luck... or Something marks Duff’s sixth studio album, following the release of 2015’s Breathe In. Breathe Out. The former child star, who made her film debut in Casper Meets Wendy (1998) and became a household name through Disney Channel’s Lizzie McGuire (2001-2004), was a fixture in many families’ living rooms growing up. She definitely was in mine! Through her show, she began a singing career, releasing a Christmas album in 2002 called Santa Claus Lane.

Anyone who grew up in the 2000s can tell you how transformative her second album, 2003’s Metamorphosis, was. With tracks like “So Yesterday” and “Come Clean,” Duff became a certified pop star while still on the Disney Channel. Some of her other big roles of the early 2000s included movies Agent Cody Banks, Cheaper By the Dozen (and its sequel), A Cinderella Story, and, of course, The Lizzie McGuire Movie.

“Making music was a huge risk that I took at such a young age, and it was a huge part of my makeup for the longest time,” Duff told Vogue in November 2025 while promoting her single “Mature.” “It was hard to step away from it, but I always knew I would come back whenever the timing felt right.”

Now, decades removed from her Disney days, Duff is a mom to four children, sharing her eldest with ex-husband Mike Comrie, and her three youngest with husband Matthew Koma. Her fans have loved to grow up with her, and can’t get enough of her current era.
