If you are an Atlanta Hawks fan, Thursday night's must-win Game 6 against the New York Knicks was not a good time. After going back and forth early, the Hawks completely crumbled, ultimately suffering one of the most embarrassing playoff losses in NBA history, with a final score of 140-89.

On a night where the game quickly devolved into an ugly spectacle, there was at least one moment that Hawks fans couldn't help but laugh at. Many probably missed it, since the game was basically decided by the time it happened, but it was pure comedy for those watching.

It involved a courtside interaction between rapper and Hawks diehard Boosie Badazz and Knicks star Jalen Brunson. During a game that became a joke in its own right, what happened between these two that was so funny?

Here's what happened between Boosie and Jalen Brunson

The incident happened late in the second quarter, with the score absurdly reading 83-34. The Knicks had the ball and got off a three-pointer by OG Anunoby. The shot missed, and the ball ricocheted hard towards the nearside corner of the court.

Jalen Brunson, giving admirable effort considering the circumstances, sprinted after the loose ball in an attempt to keep it in play. He didn't quite make it in time, and in his effort, he stumbled into the first row of seats. There sat Boosie, whom Brunson ended up directly on top of.

Instead of simply getting up and jogging back to play defense, Brunson pulled a laughing Boosie up from his seat and lay him on the ground beside the court. After doing so, Brunson ran back and could be seen smiling on the other end.

Meanwhile, Boosie remained on the ground, trying to sell an injury by holding his leg. He even slapped the ground at one point before eventually returning to his seat. This would have been a funny occurrence in its own right, but it continued after the game.

Brunson came over to ask if Boosie was good, and Boosie responded by saying he owed him steaks. "I'm DMing you!" he yelled as Brunson walked away. In the video caption, posted to Boosie's Instagram, he also demands a courtside seat at Madison Square Garden, where he's never been.

Players going into the crowd happens fairly often during NBA games, but this instance was unique, given who was involved and the manner in which things went down. It was a situation where the music and basketball worlds collided in a mostly lighthearted way.

In a game where the score read 72-22 at one point, this was at least one truly fun moment for fans of both teams. We'll have to see from here if Brunson comes through and Boosie ends up getting his steak and courtside seat in New York.
