The 2025 Grammy Awards are almost upon us. Will we see Taylor Swift drop a news bomb like she did at the 2024 ceremony when she announced she would be releasing an album called The Tortured Poets Department quite soon thereafter? One can hope but likely not expect. Maybe another artist of her ilk will give us the same kind of news.
Swift's album is nominated for Album of the Year this year, though. She will have to battle for that award along with other excellent musical artists including André 3000 (New Blue Sun), Beyoncé (Cowboy Carter), Sabrina Carpenter (Short n' Sweet), Charli xcx (Brat), Jacob Collier (Djesse Vol. 4), Billie Eilish (HIT ME HARD AND SOFT), and Chappell Roan (The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess). The good money might be placed on Queen Bey to win (though whether you bet or not is up to you).
The musical performances will not include Swift, though. Maybe she will make a surprise performance, but that is not expected. Carpenter, Charli xcx, and Collier will have a set, though. So will Shakira. In other words, you will not want to miss the Grammys for the musical performances alone. The question is, how can you watch and stream the awards show? Here is that information.
How you can watch and stream the 2025 Grammy Awards
CBS will broadcast the ceremonies beginning at 8 pm ET on Sunday, February 2. The show is scheduled to end at 11:30 pm, but we all know that the program will probably run longer than that. To be fair, it is difficult to control the exact time. Some speeches go on too long, and some musical performances do the same. Let's just hope it's all worth watching.
If you want to stream the event instead, do so at Paramount+. You will need to have a subscription for that, though. If you have SHOWTIME, that is sometimes bundled with Paramount+, so you might have a subscription and not even know about it.
The Grammy Awards will be hosted for a fifth straight time by comedian Trevor Noah. He finds a way to be funny without having to be overly insulting to the nominees. He is worth the watch alone. Plus, since he had done the ceremony so many times, he should have an easy humor to deliver.
