Some people might only know Los Angeles rockers Los Lobos from the La Bamba soundtrack in 1987. The band performed the Ritchie Valens tunes that made him an icon before he died at 17 years old. Los Lobos is so much more than that soundtrack, however.
They are a blend of rock, blues, Tex-Mex, folk, and soul, and well...just about any other great form of music. Los Lobos makes all those genres into their own sound, though, and has always done so brilliantly.
The group's most recent album was released in 2021 and was called Native Sons. It was as one would expect: Something all music lovers should own. The same goes for many of their other albums, especially 1984's How Will the Wolf Survive? and 1987's By the Light of the Moon.
Los Lobos announce 2026 tour dates
The great part is that Los Lobos is back out on the road in 2026, beginning on Saturday night. Many of the dates will take place in the United States, with a handful in Europe. Tickets can be found on their official website.
