By this point, you probably have heard of Mammoth, or maybe when the musical artist was known as Mammoth WVH. The WVH, of course, stands for Wolfgang Van Halen, son of Eddie. To be fair, Mammoth is Wolfgang, and he simply has a band during concerts.
Mammoth has released three studio albums, and on each of them, Wolfgang Van Halen has played all the instruments and written all the songs. That he goes by the name of a band instead of by his own name is slightly odd, but very cool at the same time.
He doesn't want to succeed or fail based on his being linked to Van Halen. While he plays a different brand of harder rock, and he plays guitar as clean as his father did, Wolfgang's music doesn't sound exactly like Van Halen. It is worthy of being heard on its own.
Mammoth announce a whole host of 2026 tour dates
He and his tour mates also put on great shows. If you happened to miss their 2025 run of concerts, you will have another chance early in 2026. Mammoth will be joined by 10 Years (which makes sense since one of the dates is in that band's hometown of Knoxville, TN) and James and the Cold Gun.
Tickets are on sale now. Best of all, they are extremely affordable in comparison to many other well-known artists. Two tickets can cost you less than $100. So, there are no real excuses to not see Mammoth, especially if you live in the eastern half of the United States.
