2026 is going to be a very good year for Muse fans. The band is releasing a new album titled The Wow! Signal on June 26, and fans in the United States and Canada will get to see the group do live versions of some of those tunes beginning in July.
The album will be Muse's 10th studio album, and the band has never strained for creativity. They have gone from somewhat straightforward alternative hard rock to space rock and meddled in prog rock. They never don't sound like themselves, though.
Some of this is due to Matt Bellamy's voice. He has a clear and full sound, and while he is not quite the quality of Thom Yorke of Radiohead, he isn't far off.
Muse announce 2026 North American tour dates
The band's instrumentation is unique and well-conceived, too. Songs are puzzle pieces that help make up the whole of an album, and Muse has yet to churn out a bad one. Plus, they are excellent in concert.
That three guys can bring so much sound and still make it so pristine is magical. In other words, if you have a chance to see them, you should.
