A bit of something for everyone.

One can tell it's summer when there are tons of new album releases each month. Something about the warmer weather in the northern hemisphere means it's time to put out new music. Maybe driving around with the top down and blaring the tunes is traditional.

But not everyone has a convertible. And not every musical artist is meant to play their music at full volume. James Taylor might like a more intimate setting than Metallica, for instance.

Thankfully, in June, there is something for every kind of music lover. There are even some veteran artists putting out some (hopefully) great stuff.

Full listing of new albums coming in June 2025

Eno and Wolfe's releases should be interesting, but likely for people who are already fans. Pulp makes a comeback here, but it will always be challenging for the band to top their earlier records. Cypress Hill and the London Symphony Orchestra? What?

June 13

  • Buckcherry - Roar Like Thunder
  • Buscabulla - Se Amaba Así

  • Van Morrison - Remembering Now

The Cure's newish album features remixes from their excellent 2024 record, Songs of the Lost World. Van Morrison and Dierks Bentley have been around forever, and maybe their new albums aren't rehashing the same ideas. The most interesting album might be the new King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard one.

June 20

  • Hotline TNT - Raspberry Moon
  • James McMurtry - The Black Dog And The Wandering Boy

  • S.G. Goodman - Planting By The Signs
  • Tropical F*** Storm - Fairyland Codex
  • U.S. Girls - Scratch It
  • Yaya Bey - do it afraid
  • Yungblud - Idols

Benson Boone's new record might be the biggest-seller of the summer. He seems to be ascending in time for the release date. Yungblud still makes albums? Who knew?

What a weird week. Lorde's latest, along with new releases of older work from Motörhead and Springsteen. One of those is bound to be great.
