As a music fan, there are very few better feelings than seeing an artist you've loved for a long time finally getting the recognition they deserve. It feels like being a part of something special that other people are only finally understanding now. But most importantly, it's the chance to brag to your friends, "I knew about them before they were famous".
That is why I set out to read the tea leaves in hopes of finding artists with potential. Potential to hit their next gear and skyrocket in value.
These five artists may all be from different genres, but they have one thing in common. I think they are all poised to have big breakthroughs, so you should buy stock now.
1. Mk.gee
Mk.gee is a singer-songwriter and producer known for his mesmerizing guitar tone and nostalgic production. After releasing his debut album Two Star &The Dream Police in early 2024, he achieved some critical and commercial success, getting his name out to the public.
With frequent Prince comparisons and even a shoutout from Eric Clapton himself, Mk.gee's talent is certainly undeniable, and the industry has already taken notice as well.
He was a musical guest on Saturday Night Live in November 2024, and most recently produced many of the songs on Justin Bieber's pair of albums SWAG and SWAG II, including the biggest hit "DAISIES".
2. PARTYOF2
Jadagrace and Swim were part of the band Grouptherapy, but after losing members, the pair decided a rebrand was in store and with it a new direction and sound, and thus PARTYOF2 was born.
With an energetic, pop-inspired, West Coast rap sound, there is a lot to look forward to as Jadagrace and Swim take the group in a new direction. And fans won't have to wait long to really sink their teeth into this new project, as the duo's first album, Amerika's Next Top Party! releases on October 17th.
With the anticipation of this new pivot, as well as the quality of the music the pair has already teased, don't be surprised if you hear the name PARTYOF2 a lot more in the near future.
3. Julia Wolf
Julia Wolf is a pop artist who isn't afraid to play with genre, especially emo and metal sounds. Old genres always seem to come back into style after enough time has passed, and emo-pop may be the next evolution of this trend.
She has already seen some moderate success with her latest album, Pressure, which was released in May 2025, receiving some hype. And one of the songs on the album "In My Room" even blew up on TikTok as well.
Julia Wolf's fusion of modern pop vocals with vintage Midwest emo production is tantalizing enough already, but the biggest indicator of her being next up has to be a cosign from one of the biggest artists in the world. She contributed vocals to the latest Drake single "DOG HOUSE," which means it is probably only up from here.
4. Geese
New York indie rock band Geese is a sort of "music nerd's band" right now, being lauded in some circles as some of the best musicians in the country, while not being the most well-known. Though what they lack in numbers for right now, they make up for with a dedicated fanbase and a solid back catalogue that proves they should be here to stay.
Their sound is a mixture of some of the greats as they wear their inspirations, like the Strokes or the Stones, on their sleeves. But don't get it twisted, this doesn't mean that they're played out and boring. In fact, their uniqueness, especially when it comes to frontman Cameron Winter's vocals and lyrics, is one of their biggest selling points.
Their latest album, Getting Killed, has already received critical acclaim, and they've most recently gotten their name out into the world by opening for Vampire Weekend on their previous tour.
5. Jane Remover
It is hard to pin down exactly the type of music that Jane Remover makes. They are a pioneer in the underground hyperpop and digicore scenes, even being credited for creating the niche internet microgenre of "dariacore", but they have also produced entire albums inspired by 90s shoegaze and the rage scene in hip-hop. Regardless of genre, though, Jane is a self-made songwriter and producer whose talent speaks for itself.
Their most recent 2025 album, Revengeseekerz, is already being praised as an innovative and masterful project that only goes to show Jane's potential even further, while also bringing in the biggest audience Jane has reached yet.
This, alongside an upcoming feature on hip-hop legend Danny Brown's new album Stardust, just goes to show everyone that Jane Remover's momentum won't be slowing down anytime soon.
