Nick Cave hasn't stopped touring. He and the Bad Seeds performed live earlier this year and in 2025, too. But Cave's 2027 tour will look a lot like 2019 all over again. Literally.

That year, Cave embarked on a run of shows that featured live performances of songs, as well as Q&A with the audience. This is, as Cave fans will know, extremely fitting because he has a long history of interacting with fans on social media and online.

The Q&A aspect is simply one more extension of how he has also mingled with his fans. This, of course, makes him more human than many other recording artists. He's real and isn't afraid to give long answers to good questions. One might not always agree with him, but at least no one has to guess about his stances.

The 2027 run of shows will begin on April 9 in Vancouver, British Columbia, then wind its way through the Pacific Northwest, the West Coast, then northeast, before finishing in the American South. Stops include Asheville, North Carolina, on May 13, a perfect place for Cave's unique style.

An artist presale begins on Wednesday, November 11, at 10 am local time and can be found on Nick Cave's official website, along with the entire list of where the Aussie icon will appear. General public tickets will start on Friday, November 13, at 10 am local time.

The Red Hand Files, the online Q&A that Cave began in 2018, will present the tour. Fans can ask him questions there, of course, and he often answers with far more than a two-word response. He is a thoughtful guy, obviously, and doesn't answer without well-constructed thoughts.

Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds have released 18 studio albums, beginning with 1984's From Her to Eternity. The most recent LP was 2024's Wild God. In his native Australia, the last 11 albums have reached the top 10. The last five have reached No. 2 or higher.

Interestingly, as a solo artist, Nick Cave has released only one proper studio album, though he has helmed 11 soundtrack albums. He usually collaborates with Warren Ellis on these endeavors.
