Noah Kahan is becoming a massive star, though one with a slightly odd fanbase at times. He recently asked followers to stop stealing the Alger Brook Road sign that he has referenced in a couple of songs. His more recent request carries even more weight.
Posting on X, Kahan said, "If you have to poop at a show please dear god just go to the bathroom lmao I’ve pooped my pants as much as the next 29 year old but you guys gotta understand there’s a venue worker out there with a 1,000 yard stare after dealing with that."
That seems logical, right? If one needs to go to the bathroom, then they should go. Standing at a concert and simply relieving oneself without going to the restroom is just rude. Everyone has to smell the person. It's gross.
Noah Kahan requests that his fans stop pooping themselves
Maybe Kahan's music is so magical to his devotees that missing even a note is an awful experience. Instead, people could wear adult diapers to a concert, but even then, an adult should be old enough to avoid that and simply go to the place one has to go when one has to, well...go.
Plus, the music can likely be heard from the bathroom. The only thing truly being missed is Kahan's performance of the tune, but after going to the bathroom, one can just watch him do some other song. Life goes on.
So does Noah Kahan's tour. The negative part for fans who don't already have tickets are all the North American concerts below are sold out. You can always check a reputable secondary outlet, such as StubHub, to find expensive resold tickets, though.
