Supergroups can be great things, but mostly if they decide to stick together and commit themselves to making great music. Bad Company is an example of that. Other supergroups simply get together to play live and hope to entertain without creating much of their own substance.
That is the case with Hollywood Vampires. The band has put out a couple of studio albums, but none since 2019. The band also released a live album in 2023. Does it matter how well they sell? Not really. Each of the band members has made enough money and will be remembered for other things other than Hollywood Vampires.
And that's likely perfectly fine with them. This is supposed to be a fun side project, and so far, that is how it has gone.
Hollywood Vampires announce 2026 European tour dates
Hollywood Vampires is made up of founding members Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Joe Perry, and actor Johnny Depp. Depp is also a pretty decent musician, who has devoted as much time to playing the guitar as he has to his acting career over the decades, but that is not meant as a slight to either.
The fourth member of the group is Tommy Henriksen, who has worked with Cooper for years, as well as musical artists like Lady Gaga, Lou Reed, and Halestorm.
In other words, while Hollywood Vampires aren't going to have albums and singles consistently chart, what a concert-goer will get is an entertaining experience featuring good musicianship and performers who know how to put on a great show.
Unfortunately, if you want to see the supergroup in 2026, you will need to travel to Europe. So take your vacations in August and September and go see a good show. For ticket information, you can visit the Hollywood Vampires' official website.
