The latest installment of Peaky Blinders is almost here. The excellent period drama featuring the Birmingham gang won't come as a series, but as a film. The movie, Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man, will first be released in cinemas on March 6, and then it can be streamed by Netflix users on March 20.
In other words, if you are willing to wait to not pay $20-plus at the theaters, you can stream the film for the $25 you pay each month to watch Netflix. You'd have to make your own popcorn, though.
A fan of Peaky Blinders will know just how important the music is to the plot. While it is far more atmospheric than producing hit singles (that wouldn't be the point), it helps set the often-gloomy mood with subversive tension.
Peaky Blinders: The Immortal Man soundtrack tracklist has been released
The 36-track soundtrack will feature some familiar names if you have looked into the tracklists for the seasons of the series. That includes Antony Genn and Martin Slattery. The new faces include Grian Chatten, Carlos O'Connell, and Tom Coll of Fontaines D.C., as well as Amy Taylor of Amyl & the Sniffers.
The iconic Nick Cave has also re-recorded "Red Right Hand," which is used as the theme song for Peaky Blinders. The soundtrack will be available to download on March 6, the same day the film opens.
