Phoebe Bridgers, the brilliant indie-folk-pop-rock musician, is going to claim 2026 as her own, most likely. She had already dropped a slew of tour dates that begin in September. On Wednesday, she delivered the information fans have been waiting for: Bridgers will have a new album out soon.
The record will be Bridgers' first solo LP since 2020's Punisher, and her third overall. She did help create wonderful music with the band boygenius, along with Julien Baker and Lucy Dacus, but the group's most recent album was in 2023.
In other words, the world has been waiting for truly new Bridgers songs. The new album will be called Lost Weekend and will be released on August 14. The first single from the record will be released on Thursday, June 25, on YouTube, with an expected drop time of 7 pm ET.

Details such as the tracklist and other items were not readily released. The presumed cover of the album can be seen below. The album will be released via Dead Oceans.
The singer has been working through new material at a recent live show at Madison Square Garden, but the event was phone-free. The lucky people who were able to go might know some of the new tracks from Lost Weekend, but the rest of the Phoebe Bridgers -loving world will have to wait.
