Pop music fans, the time has almost come for you to be able to watch a bunch of your favorite artists win some golden phonographs. Maybe some won't care if they win or lose because they create music to make money, not win awards. But who are we to judge, right? Plus, watching the 2024 Grammy Awards is likely a must-watch for most music lovers.
But how, you might ask, can you actually watch the Grammys? Well, I am glad you asked because I happen to have that information. Both for watching on your television or streaming?
CBS will broadcast the ceremonies beginning at 8 am ET on Sunday, February 4. The show is supposed to end at about 11:30 pm, but we all can assume that the program will run longer than that. Maybe closer to midnight all the golden phonograph awards turn into orange pumpkin awards.
How to watch and stream the 2024 Grammy Awards
If you want to stream the event instead, you can. Paramount+ will be the place to go for that. You will need to have a subscription for that, however. If you have SHOWTIME, you might already have Paramount+, too. Worth a check.
The Grammy Awards will be hosted for a fourth time by comedian Trevor Noah. He is consistently great in whatever he does, so there will be entertainment value in watching Noah alone. Hopefully, the rest of the Grammys will be as good as Noah will likely be.
Record of the Year nominees includes Jon Batiste ("Worship"), boygenius ("Not Strong Enough"), Miley Cyrus ("Flowers"), Billie Eilish ("What Was I Made For?"), Victoria Monet ("On My Mama"), Olivia Rodrigo ("Vampire"), Taylor Swift ("Anti-Hero"), and SZA ("Kill Bill"). SZA, Swift, Rodrigo, Cyrus, boygenius, and Batiste are also nominated for the Album of the Year award. SZA leads the way with most nominations with nine.
