Do you think Britney Spears ever just wants to have a boring week where nothing ever happens? If she does, that wasn't this past week. But the week Britney had doesn't seem to be all bad.
Lynn Spears, Britney's mom, visited the singer/social media icon for the first time in three years. According to Spears, her mom just "showed up at (her) door step" two Thursdays ago and stayed for the entire week. Spears said how nice it was to reconnect with her mom and positively said "time heals all wounds."
While this is true, Britney has had the unfortunate trend over her lifetime of having old wounds reopen, so let's hope that's not the case here. If anyone deserves a break it's probably Spears who has for most of her 41 years managed managed to entertain millions through music, social media posts, or public mishaps. Plus, it's about time that Spears produces her first studio album since 2016's Glory, right?
Britney Spears has an interesting week
In less happy news for Spears, though, her two children with ex-husband Kevin Federline will be moving full-time to Hawaii in August and Spears couldn't really stop the move if she wanted to. Federline has sole custody of the couple's two sons, Sean Preston (17) and Jayden (16). Federline and the sons will be moving from California in the summer.
Federline reportedly threatened legal action over the move due to Spears' alleged failure to respond to the relocation request. Spears, however, appears to have put a positive spin on the big change as a source for the Daily Mail said the icon just wants the children to be "happy" and is always "supportive" of them. Spears has had to overcome quite a bit in her life, of course, and she probably had to learn to be a parent without having a good example from he own parents.
At the end of it all, though, doesn't it have to be exhausting to be Britney Spears? She's always in the public discussion, for good and for bad. If I were Britney, I would have shut down a long time ago.
