1. Lemonade (2016)

When life gives you lemons, make Lemonade. That's the inspiration behind Beyoncé's best album. Her lemons? Self-doubt, insecurities, infidelity, injustice, and being good enough. What an amazing work of art. This album had the entire music world buzzing. Beyoncé! Getting cheated on? How?

Beyoncé's Lemonade is centered around the infidelity of Jay-Z and what was so beautiful about this album is she allows listeners into her private life. This album gave us a front-row seat to Beyoncé: not the superstar, but the human.

Lemonade is Beyoncé in her rawest form. From lyrics such as "you not messing with no average chick boy," "suck on my balls..pause. I've had enough" and the infamous "Becky with the good hair," this album was the talk of 2016. Empowerment, finding your light again, fighting against injustice, strength, perseverance, this album has it all. She also made Red Lobster very popular that year....if you know, you know.
