MTV Video Music Awards: Highlights and all the winners
By Lee Vowell
MTV held its Video Music Awards on Tuesday night and the performers were great and people got glammed up. The awards themselves might be somewhat meaningless, but that doesn't stop musical artists from taking them seriously. Sure, there is fun to be had, but people want to win, too!
Before I get to the winners, however, there were some notable performances and outfits. For those who think K-Pop might not have any real artists, for instance, I give you the video below. Stray Kids slayed.
For those rock fans that tuned in, Fall Out Boy had a another excellent performance. MTV, of course, has moved far away from where they were when they started out. Videos, for example, are much harder to find through all the reality TV stuff. And a rock video is even more difficult to find.
2023 MTV Music Video Music awards did not disappoint
So about that Stray Kids performance, you ask? Here you go. Enjoy!
So who wore what? Selena Gomez stood out in a red dress. There was sadly no Steve Martin or Martin Short with her, however. But Taylor Swift was!
But mostly, all eyes were on Taylor Swift on and off the stage. She tied the record for most wins in a single night with nine. She was cheering for other winners. Taylor Swift was conversing with everyone. Basically, she acted like the queen she is.
