Music News: Full album release schedule for June
By Lee Vowell
The rush of April and May is gone. In June, there will be no release as big as Taylor Swift in April or Billie Eilish in May. This might not matter because music is a personal experience, and your favorite artist might have an album coming out.
Some bands are making a comeback with new releases in June. Bon Jovi is one of them as the band will put out Forever, the group's 16th studio album. This is also the first new material since Jon Bon Jovi lost his voice for a while.
Indie rock icons the Decemberists will also produce a new record. As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again is the group's first new studio album since 2018. If the record is similar in quality to 2011's The King is Dead, then fans are in for a treat.
Full album release schedule for June
June 7
Actress - Statik

Aurora - What Happened To The Heart?
Bon Jovi - Forever
Bonny Light Horseman - Keep Me On Your Mind/See You Free

Besides Bon Jovi, who will have a loyal following forever (pardon the pun), and that will likely mean the album sales decently well, Charli XCX might be another nice seller. This is likely the most diverse week of releases in June, so maybe save your money and try out some different things. Eels is surely to entertain. For your folk fix, Bonny Light Horseman should do the trick.
June 14
Carly Pearce - Hummingbird
Cola - The Gloss
Feet - Make It Up
John Cale - POPtical Illusion
Meghan Trainor - Timeless
Normani - Dopamine
RJD2 - Visions Out Of Limelight
The Decemberists - As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again
Walt Disco - The Warping
Zsela - Big For You
The Decemberists have released four tracks from their new album already. Most of very good so the long wait on the record is likely going to have a happy ending. Meghan Trainor is probably going to steal the week, however.
June 21
Gracie Abrams - The Secret Of Us
Islands - What Occurs
Kate Nash - 9 Sad Symphonies
Kehlani - Crash
Lake Street Dive - Good Together
Pond - Stung!
Six releases during one week seem slight. Maybe someone will drop a surprise in here. Gracie Abrams' new release should be interesting, at least.
June 28
Camila Cabello - C, XOXO
Guided by Voices - Strut Of Kings
Hiatus Kaiyote - Love Heart Cheat Code
Homeshake - Horsie
Imagine Dragons - Loom
Jxdn - When the Music Stops
Loma - How Will I Live Without A Body?
Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats - South Of Here
Omar Apollo - God Said No
Cabello has seen decreasing sales in her albums since her debut record, Camila, was released in 2018. She needs a hit with this record. If you want pure fun, pick up the new Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats album.
