The Black Crowes were all set to tour with Aerosmith this fall until Steven Tyler's voice would not allow his band to tour anymore. Of course, Aerosmith could have kept going without Tyler, but that would have just been weird. The Black Crowes were forced to reschedule their lives.

The good news for fans is that the band announced this week that they will hid the road for three months playing different parts of North America. (OK, to be fair, there is just one show not in the United States and that is when Chris and Rich Robinson and friends cross over to Rama, Ontario on November 2 to play at a casino.)

The Crowes will start their tour on September 27 and go through December 22. The band's gigs will begin on the East Coast, wind itself through the South and Midwest, and spend a couple of weeks on the West Coast before ending back up in New York. If you haven't seen the band live, they are fantastic and worth taking a trip to see.

New rock and metal tours announced this week include the Black Crowes

The Black Crowes are just one of the groups who have announced new shows this past week. Bad Wolves and Pop Evil will co-headline a short run of shows that begins on November 6 and goes through November 30. All of these shows will occur in the eastern US, however, so if you live in California, you might want to start planning to pay for plane tickets.

Jane's Addiction and Love and Rockets also continue doing a run of gigs together. The added dates will run from October 2 through October 16. The new shows will all occur mostly near the West Coast.

After coming back from a European swing, The Story So Far will play a month of shows in the US. These will go from November 21 (hello, Nashville!) to December 14 (goodbye, San Francisco!).

Other bands either hitting the road or extending their tours include Earthside, Hulder, The Dandy Warhols, and Sebastian Bach. There is likely a tour somewhere from someone you want to see, right? I mean, Bach still probably has his fans, too.
