Oasis has announced a reunion tour but that might not mean much for United States fans, though.

Oasis' social media accounts announced some surprising news for fans on Tuesday. That is for the first time in 15 years, Noel and Liam Gallagher will play a concert together. The last time that happened was in 2009 in Paris when the two brothers got into a fight and unofficially decided to discontinue gigging together.

While Oasis playing again together is exciting, the tour is currently set to only be a regional one. 14 concerts are scheduled beginning July 4, 2025, and continuing into early August, but all the shows are in the UK or Ireland. If you want to see the band play, you will probably have to include plane tickets in the cost if you live in the United States or Europe (or, well...anywhere else).

Definitely maybe there is a chance the boys will decide, "Wait! We are making a lot of money doing this and this is fun again!" and then decide to expand the tour. We can assume the shows currently scheduled will be sold out because who is going to miss an Oasis gig if one is close by?

To be fair, Oasis was always bigger in the UK and worldwide than they were in the US. Every single album the band produced went to number one on the UK charts, but none did in the United States. Of the band's seven studio records, only three made the top ten in the US. Could this be a reason the group doesn't care to cross the pond to play shows at this point?

dark. Next. Overplayed songs from the 1990s that rot our brains. Overplayed songs from the 1990s that rot our brains

If so, that is a valid reason. One would have to assume that the popularity of an Oasis reunion tour would certainly inspire American fans to buy tickets should the group come to the United States on an expanded tour. There would be no reason for Americans to not buy tickets to see one of the best bands from the 1990s.

Still, since the tour is not set to begin for another year, anything could happen. Possibly Liam and Noel start to bicker again and decide to call the whole thing off. Or, in a best-case scenario, the band falls in love with the idea of Oasis again and records a new album.
