Are you ready for the 2024 Grammy Awards yet, music fans? The best night of music television is creeping closer. The awards ceremony will be held on February 4 on CBS and will feature a bunch of excellent performances. Olivia Rodrigo is among those who we know will perform so far.

Olivia Rodrigo will be joined by Billie Eilish, Dua Lipa, Travis Scott, Luke Combs and Burna Boy. Maybe they all will play and sing together and form some kind of supergroup. (I joke. That will not happen. At least, I don't think it will.)

Rodrigo received six nominations for this year's Grammys including Song of the Year for "Vampire," Album of the Year for GUTS, and Record of the Year for "Vampire." The 20-year-old songwriter won three Grammys in 2022. She will likely win some more in 2024. By the end of her career, maybe she will hold a few records for wins.

Some performers, such as Olivia Rodrigo, are being announced for the 2024 Grammy Awards

Eilish seemingly gets multiple Grammy nominations every year. The last time she didn't was in 2019 before she was releasing records. She won Record of the Year in 2020 for "Bad Guy," and in 2021 for "Everything I Wanted." She is nominated six times in 2024, including "What Was I Made For?" for Record of the Year.

Dua Lipa is nominated for Song of the Year in 2024 for another Barbie track (like Eilish's song), "Dance the Night." Oddly, the Barbie soundtrack did not receive a nod for Album of the Year even though two of the songs on the soundtrack are up for Song of the Year. I assume because the album is no cohesive work and a collection of tracks.

Travis Scott is up for Best Rap Album for Utopia. Scott will be up against Drake and 21 Savage, Killer Mike, Metro Boomin, and Nas for the award.

The Grammy Awards will be hosted once again by Trevor Noah. This will be his fourth time as host and it is worth watching the awards ceremony for Noah alone. But watch for the performances, too, most of which should be decent to somewhat OK.
