Usher is set to entertain us at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show during Super Bowl LVIII on Sunday, February 11. He will probably perform about 12 songs or so, maybe have a few guests to help out, and be done. He will not get paid for the gig directly but will reap the benefits in the days after from augmented sales of his songs. But when will Usher perform during the game?

There is no exact time, of course. Heck, even if there was not a game surrounding the performance, a musical artist can be very mercurial. They don't start at 8 pm on the spot if the concert is set to begin at 8. More likely, they come on at 8:15 pm or after, right? Plus, in Usher's case, he is just like the rest of us: Waiting for the first half to end.

The Super Bowl is scheduled to kickoff at 6:30 pm ET which is 3:30 pm PT, of course. So kickoff will probably be more about 6:35 pm or after.

When will Usher beginning performing at halftime of Super Bowl LVIII?

On average, Super Bowl halftime shows start between 8 pm ET and 8:15 pm ET. For those in Ventral Time that is 7-7:15 pm, for those in the weird time zone of Mountain Time halftime would start around 6-6:15 pm, and for the people on the West Coast, Usher will start about 5-5:15 pm.

This all depends on how long it takes for the San Francisco 49ers and Kansas City Chiefs to play out the first half. Hopefully, they will do so quickly. We are there just to see Usher perform after all.

Maybe since we can assume Taylor Swift will be in the stadium watching her boyfriend, tight end Travis Kelce of the Kansas City Chiefs, play, Usher can ask her up on the stage. That is extremely unlikely, but anything is possible, of course. A Swiftie can hope anyway.
