It is nearly summer in the Northern Hemisphere, of course, and, for many, that likely means some nice and breezy sounds to go along with the heat. What better genre to encompass those sounds than reggae? And what better 2026 tour to see but the one that involves Stephen Marley and Buju Banton?
The two longtime friends will hit the road for a bunch of dates that kick off in mid-June near Seattle and finish in late July in Atlanta. The latter is an outdoors venue, so be ready for the sweltering mugginess, but isn't that how reggae should (literally) be felt?
Banton has been releasing albums since 1992, with nine of them reaching the top 10 of the Billboard reggae charts. His most recent release was 2023's Born for Greatness.
Stephen Marley and Buju Banton announce 2026 tour dates
Marley, the son of the legendary Bob Marley and younger brother of Ziggy Marley, has had quite the career. He began as part of the Melody Makers with some of his siblings, but has had a successful solo career for almost two decades. His latest album was also released in 2023, Old Soul.
Tickets for the joint tour with Stephen Marley and Buju Banton are already available and can be found at Marley's official website. $2 for each ticket sale will go toward the Ghetto Youths Foundation (founded by Stephen and two of his brothers) and the Buju Banton Foundation.
