Rush set to tour for first time since Neil Peart's death

When Neil Peart died in 2020 from brain cancer at age 67, the other two members of Rush might have been right in choosing never to tour again. After all, the band was just a trio, and losing one piece, especially the main lyricist and drummer, could be a reason to say goodbye.

Bassist Geddy Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson have played together a few times since 2020, but there hasn't been an actual tour. In 2026, there will be. The run won't be long, and most of the shows will be regionally based, but with two concerts in most cities.

The presale for tickets begins on Monday, October 13, and you can sign up by clicking right here. That will start at 12 pm local time for the United States and Canada shows. For the Mexico date, the presale begins on Thursday, October 16, at 12 pm local time.

Rush announce dates and cities for first tour since the death of drummer Neil Peart

The general sale for tickets will occur on Friday, October 17, at 12 pm local time in the US and Canada, and 11 am local time in Mexico.

You might have to travel to see one of the gigs, but all of the cities involved are worth visiting. In other words, make it a full trip. Go out to eat, stay at a nice place (or whatever you can afford), and see a concert. It will be a mini-vacation.
