Get those sweaters ready, Weezer fans, because your favorite alternative rock band is going out on the road in 2026, beginning in early September until late October. The band will be joined by Silversun Pickups and the Shins, two groups worthy of being seen live on their own merit.
An artist pre-sale begins on Tuesday, March 31, at 10 am local time, but one has to be in the Weezer fan club for that. General public tickets start at 10 am local time on Friday, April 3. For both options, you can visit the band's official website.
The tour is called by the very tongue-in-cheek title, Weezer: The Gathering. The band has never turned away from its nerdom, and good for them. Staying true to oneself is never easy, and Weezer has maintained its truth.

If you live in Los Angeles, the band is promoting the tour by hosting a series of games where you might be able to play pickleball, for instance, with Rivers Cuomo and his bandmates. You can check out their website for that information as well.
On April 1, the band will drop their latest single, "Shine Again." Will the tour also be in support of a full album? Nothing is guaranteed, but there is a chance.
