ZZ Top's Frank Beard is back (but where was he?)

Oh, thank goodness.

ZZ Top doesn't feel the same without the trio of Billy Gibbons, Elwood Frances, and Frank Beard. The group has been playing music together for more than 50 years, and if one of them is missing, the world feels like a lesser place.

Beard, though, has missed some time with the band recently. He wasn't with the band for two months, and it was unclear if the drummer would return in the future. His issue was that he was having foot and ankle problems, and for a drummer, that is literally crippling.

Thankfully, those ailments appear to have been resolved now, and Beard is back. ZZ Top is doing an expansive tour of North America from early June through early October. Anywhere you live, the band is probably going to be playing close by.
