Will Swifties be mad?

The 2026 Grammy Awards nominations are out, for those of you who like such things. Some artists don't care if they win awards; they just want to make good music. Oh, sure. It's nice to win, but selling records is winning, too.

The nominations prove it's a good time to be alive for Bad Bunny. He is going to play the halftime show at Super Bowl LX in February, and he was given a lot of nods for the Grammys, too. Six in total, but he's nominated in all of the big three awards (which you can see below): Song of the Year, Album of the Year, and Record of the Year.

And if you are a Taylor Swift fan, your favorite performer isn't on the list for her latest album, The Life of a Showgirl. There is a good reason for that, though. The window to be nominated runs from August 31 of one year to August 30 of the next. Swift's album didn't drop until October 3, so it was eligible. It will be next year.

Nominees for big three categories (and rock categories) for the 2026 Grammy Awards (and why no Taylor Swift)

Below. is who is in the running for the big three categories, as well as the rock categories. For once, all of the nominees for the rock awards aren't past 60 years old (not that older people can't make good music, but younger people do too).
