Bad Bunny certainly draws attention, and he was all the rage when Wimbledon 2026 got underway on Monday. He was there in Novak Djokovic's player's box, but he was the topic of conversation after a match involving Coco Gauff, too.

This is the kind of star the Puerto Rican is. Some in the United States might not be big fans of his for whatever reason, but the rest of the world? He's a popular figure.

In the Djokovic match against Wu Yibing, Bad Bunny was clearly on the side of the 39-year-old tennis legend. He cheered on the positive points and reacted stoically when things didn't go the Serbian's way. Bad Bunny knows tennis, and he clearly has favorites.

The performer is in London as part of his tour. His final show at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was on June 28, and he has a short break before heading to France. There is no tennis in France currently, though. At least not a Grand Slam event like Wimbledon.

Coco Gauff apparently was at one of the Latin hip-hop icon's London shows, too. She danced for two hours and even got a tap on the shoulder from the performer. She addressed what happened after she won her Wimbledon first-round match against Tamara Korpatsch.

Asked by a Wimbledon reporter after the match about Bad Bunny sitting in Djokovic's box, Gauff said, "Oh, okay! Okay. Well, I was in the casita with Novak, but he didn’t come to my match."

The reporter responded by saying, "I was gonna say, did you wanna ask him to come and sit in your box as well?"

To which Coco Gauff said, "I was happy. I don’t even think he knew I was there. It was funny. I was twerking with my friend, and somebody tapped behind me, and it was Bad Bunny. I was like, 'Oh, sorry.' And he was like, performing...My coach was like, 'He’s a very smart person. Because instead of hiring more dancers, he forces you guys to dance instead.'"

This was, of course, followed by much laughter from the Wimbledon crowd watching. This is the effect Bad Bunny has on a global audience. He isn't seen as a divisive figure. He's simply an elite entertainer who brings happiness to people.
