Pope Leo just said the quiet part out loud about Bad Bunny

The truth appears real.

While misunderstanding the draw that Pope Leo, or any pope, might have on a global scale, even the new person representing the Catholic church understands his place in the world compared to Bad Bunny. Pope Leo might be well-liked, but the hip-hop legend is well-loved.

Speaking on the papal plane on his trip to Madrid this weekend, Leo addressed the fact that Bad Bunny was playing two of his 10-show residency in the city. When it comes to who young people want to see more of, Leo ranks second, and it's likely not close.

According to the Associated Press, Pope Leo said, "If they are confronted with the question ‘Do you want to go see Bad Bunny or do you want to go to see the pope?’ I think many will see Bad Bunny. But I think there will also be a few here to see the pope. And that says something, you know."

Pope Leo knows where his bread is buttered in comparison to Bad Bunny

That is likely the least arrogant way someone with such great power might state his place in the global hierarchy. No problem exists with the view either. Leo is going to lead the direction of a church that billions belong to. Bad Bunny is going to entertain many of those same masses.

What would be terrific, of course, though extremely unlikely, would be for the pope to go see one of the hip-hop icon's shows while in Spain. Maybe Bad Bunny could even bring Leo on stage, though that would be impossible.

One wonders if Leo knows any of Bunny's tunes, though he might be a huge fan. He certainly understands just how popular the Puerto Rican artist is. It's also good business to say positive things about Bad Bunny, as Puerto Rico's largest religious group is Roman Catholic.

If Pope Leo misses Bad Bunny in Madrid, he and every other fan will have more chances to see the Latin music king the rest of the summer. Bad Bunny's remaining dates are as follows:
