As you read this, the farewell concert for Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne at Villa Park in Birmingham, England might still be going on. The event is going to last nearly 12 hours. It is an all-day show featuring some of the best in heavy metal history.

The good part is that you still have time to buy your ticket to see the gig online. Tickets for the show in-person have been sold out for months. Plus, if you didn't already have a ticket, you'd be late as you need to book a plane flight, etc. It is a waste at this point.

Assuming you do want to stream Black Sabbath and Ozzy Osbourne's goodbye, you might want to know which bands are playing when. You might, for instance, not have all day to sit around watching band after band and maybe you definitely want to catch Tool but are OK with missing Gojira.

Set order for Ozzy Osbourne and Black Sabbath's farewell concert

There will also be a couple of one-off supergroups that will play, and those might be the most fun part of the concert. Other than seeing Sabbath and Ozzy, of course, and that will happen last.

The below set order was posted by Disturbed vocalist David Draiman. The times listed are local to Birmingham, England, and if one is watching the event online in the eastern United States (or Canada), one would need to subtract five hours. That said, the online viewing is expected to have a two-hour delay.

  • Mastodon– 1:30–1:45 PM
  • Rival Sons– 1:52–2:07 PM
  • Anthrax– 2:15–2:29 PM
  • Halestorm– 2:37 PM
  • Lamb of God– 3:00–3:15 PM
  • Super Group A – 3:25–4:00 PM
  • Alice In Chains– 4:07–4:22 PM
  • Gojira– 4:29–4:44 PM
  • Drum Off – 4:51–5:01 PM
  • Supergroup B – 5:08–5:48 PM
  • Pantera– 5:55–6:10 PM
  • Tool– 6:17–6:37 PM
  • Slayer– 6:44–7:12 PM
  • Guns N' Roses– 7:21–7:46 PM
  • Metallica– 7:53–8:23 PM
  • Ozzy– 8:38–8:58 PM
  • Black Sabbath– 9:13–9:48 PM

Fortunately, Draiman also posted a group photo that was taken of many of the performers at the farewell show. Ozzy, of course, is in the middle in his chair.

If you are going to watch the event, you can do so by going to the Back to the Beginning website and purchasing a ticket. It will run you $29.99, so not too bad for such a lineup. If you buy the ticket, you can also view the concert for another 48 hours after the show has ended.
