Still hitting the road.

Longtime fans of Bob Dylan know what to expect from many of his concerts. He will walk out after not having an opening band, do a bunch of songs without talking in between, and then leave without acknowledging the audience very much.

He is like a softer Pixies. Both musical artists are good live, but only if you really love their songs. One isn't going to have a Tool-like experience with a massive light show. That's not how they work.

Could Dylan be a bit more like Slipknot and KISS and tell the adoring fans that the band wouldn't exist without them? Maybe, but Dylan probably doesn't think that way. In other words, it's not realistic.

Bob Dylan adds more dates to his massive 2026 tour

Still, he's worth seeing live, and the icon just dropped a lot more dates to his already busy 2026 tour. These are mostly in July, with one date in August. If you want to see him, you will have the chance.

That said, on July 21, he will be performing in New York City with a couple of great friends. Dylan will be joined in concert by Jimmie Vaughan and Lucinda Williams. That should be a can't-miss show. A pre-sale for the show begins at 10 am local time on Thursday, April 23.

For the other dates, tickets will be made available to the general public beginning at 10 am local time on Friday, April 24. For more information, one can check out Bob Dylan's official website.
