On August 28, via Jagjaguwar, alt-rock icons Dinosaur Jr. will drop their latest album, There Near. It will be the band's first since 2021's Sweep Into Space. And you can hear J Mascis, Murph, and Lou Barlow play some (if not all) of the songs live as the group soon will kick off the second leg of their 2026 tour.
Even better for longtime fans, Dinosaur Jr. released a new single, "Several Got Away," along with the announcement of the new album. You can see the video below, and if you like the band, you will probably love the new full-on track.
Tickets for the show are already available and can be found on the group's official website. The best part, besides getting to see the band live, of course, is that tickets are relatively inexpensive. You can take the whole family for what one Taylor Swift ticket might cost.

There Near will be the band's 13th studio album. After taking 10 years off and returning in 2007 with Beyond, the band has released a new record every 3-5 years. This means the new album is right on time.
