After revamping their 2005 anthem "Citizen C.I.A." to "Citizen I.C.E." this year, the Dropkick Murphys will host a memorial concert in honor of Alex Pretti and Renée Good, who were killed earlier this year. The show will take place before the band's tour date in St. Paul, Minnesota, on March 6, and will include many local bands.
The concert will be held at 1 pm local time at the Black Forest Inn parking lot in Minneapolis and will also be livestreamed for people who can't make it to Minnesota to watch. Along with the Boston-based town, the other bands to play include Wild Colonial Bhoys, DJ Jacques, Kiss the Tiger, Sophie Hiroko, Chutes, Laamar, Obi Original, and the Shackletons, according to Rolling Stone.
The memorial will also act as a fundraiser for many mutual aid organizations, including a rent support group and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.
Dropkick Murphys to host a memorial to Renée Good and Alex Pretti on March 6 in Minneapolis
The Dropkick Murphys' current tour runs through March 17 and ends with five dates for the band's annual St. Patrick's Day concerts at Fenway Park in Boston. These have been recorded in the past and can be found on your favorite streaming service.
The current supporting acts for the shows include hardcore Haywire and reggae band, the Aggrolites. Tickets for the remaining concerts can be found on the Dropkick Murphys' official website. The band will begin a European leg of their 2026 tour in Ireland on June 25.
