Evanescence is back in full force in 2026. Not only will the band go on a massive tour, but the group will drop a new record, too. Plus, the band has a new single.
The album will be called Sanctuary and will be released on June 5 in all formats. The vinyl will be a double record, and CDs will come in standard and deluxe forms, and a limited-edition box set will arrive, too. People wanting the vinyl will have to wait for September 4 for that to come out, though.
The album is Evanescence's first since 2021's The Bitter Truth. According to vocalist Amy Lee on the band's website, the new album has been three years in the making.
Evanescence drops the details about new album ahead of massive 2026 tour
This implies it has been painstakingly made, and the sound should be pristine. The standard format of the album will feature 12 tracks, and the listing is as follows:
- 01. "Beautiful Lie"
- 02. "Tell Me When You’ve Had Enough"
- 03. "Who Will You Follow"
- 04. "Rapture"
- 05. "Afterlife"
- 06. "Sanctuary"
- 07. "How Do I Heal"
- 08. "About Us"
- 09. "Self-Destruct"
- 10. "Calm Down"
- 11. "Forever Without You"
- 12. "Wide Open Heart"
The new single is called "Who Will Follow You" and is available for streaming now. The song begins with a simple piano underlaying Lee's vocals. That quickly changes into more of the signature sound of the group. Longtime fans will be happy.
As for the previously announced tour dates, the shows begin in June and will run into October without any extensive breaks. If you want to see Evanescence in 2026, you will have plenty of chances.
