West Ham might be struggling through a rough start to the 2025-26 English Premier League campaign, but there is time to improve. Even if they don't, the team's loyal fans are unlikely to go anywhere. That includes Steve Harris, bassist for the iconic metal band, Iron Maiden.

Harris has been a fan for as long as he can remember, but he and his band were able to do something in combination with West Ham that is fairly unique. Plus, it's just in time for Christmas shopping, so save some money, get an early gift, and be ready to play a present under the Christmas tree.

You see, Iron Maiden and West Ham share an anniversary year in which the two entities had important events occur. 1975, fifty years ago, was when Maiden formed as a band. It was also the second time that the football team won the FA Cup (the team has won three times in total: 1964, 1975, and 1980).

Iron Maiden and West Ham come together for a double anniversary shirt

To help celebrate both dates, West Ham has created a new shirt that features the Iron Maiden logo across the front as well as a Cup badge. The colors remain the same as ever for the team: Classic claret and blue.

The shirt is on sale online and a home games for West Ham United. The cost is £70, which equates to $92 in the United States. It also comes in seven sizes, so there is an option for likely everyone.

Steve Harris actually debuted the shirt this past summer while Iron Maiden was performing at West Ham's London stadium.

The band will be playing a bunch of North American dates in 2026, but not in many different cities. Dates could also be added to the run, as they tend to sell out. Iron Maiden is supported by another iconic metal band, Megadeth. Anthrax also appears on some dates.
