It is the time of year when you start thinking about Christmas gifts, right? Well, here is a great idea for any music lover in your friend group or home: Ghost has announced a bunch of North American dates for their Skeletour.
If, by chance, you have no friends or family who love Tobias Forge and his bandmates, then you need to find new friends. You are likely stuck with your family, so you might simply need to convert them to the excellence that is Ghost.
Tickets for the shows will go on sale on October 3 at 10 am local time and can be found on the band's official site. If you aren't sure about going, check out the fantastic concert film Rite Here Rite Now the band released in 2024, and you will want to purchase tickets to a live show.
Ghost announces 2026 North American tour dates
Few bands are as good live as Ghost. They know how to incorporate the audience into the show, and it is seamless. Plus, and this is the important part, the songs are elite. When the group's latest album, Skeletá, was released in April, it reached No. 1 on the Billboard album charts, becoming the first hard rock/metal album to reach No. 1 since 2020.
Ghost is also reportedly working on a new concert film based on the recent tour. No title or release date is yet known, but the shows were filmed on 16mm in Mexico City. Even seeing the band play live, you'll probably want to see the new concert film as well.
