The Grammy Awards know a winner when they see one, and that does not just go for the people who take home trophies in their respective categories. When the Grammys get a host they like, and, more importantly, that people like, they keep them. The case, in fact, is the same in 2025 as it was in 2024, and in the few years prior.

That is because Trevor Noah will return to make us laugh in the nicest possible way when he hosts the Grammys for the fifth straight year. He has been brilliant every time. A huge reason for that is he finds the funny in the small things and does not need to insult people or be biting to try to draw a laugh.

If you have not seen Noah's standup, you should. It is hilarious. He was also fantastic on The Daily Show for seven years. After he left, the funny program has gone through an ever-rotating lineup of hosts, and they have all been decent. To be fair, though, the return of Jon Stewart once a week made the show even better.

Trevor Noah will return again to host the 2025 Grammy Awards

Besides Noah hosting, there are a number of performances by some of the nominated artists. This includes Billie Eilish, Sabrina Carpenter, and Chappell Roan. Shakira will also make an appearance and she always makes for must-see TV.

The 2024 Grammy Awards will be broadcast on CBS on Sunday, February 2, from 8 pm ET to, well... whenever they end. One should expect to stay up late because awards shows seem to always run over. The Oscars tend to go on much longer than their slotted time, for instance. One can also stream the Grammy Awards on Paramount+.

The Grammys will be held at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, California, for the third straight year. There was a one-year break from Los Angeles in 2022 when the Grammys were held in Las Vegas. One can safely assume that in 2026, the award ceremony will be right back in LA and likely be hosted by Trevor Noah.
