If you are a Megadeth fan (and we know that you are), you might have been saddened to learn that the band was calling it quits. They aren't going without a fight, though. While the band will embark on a farewell tour, it is expected to last several years.
Plus, Megadeth is giving us one final studio album, too. That work will be self-titled and will be released on January 23. Two singles have been released so far, "Tipping Point" and "I Don't Care." The record will also feature a take on Metallica's "Ride the Lightning," which Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine co-wrote in his limited days with Metallica.
Megadeth have previously announced they will be opening on some dates for metal legends Iron Maiden, who are doing their own farewell tour. Recently, though, Mustaine and mates announced some shows in Canada.
