Music news: Braxton Keith's beer, wireless headphones of the gods

Keith gets hate, headphones get love.

Braxton Keith is a country star who is about as inoffensive as anyone can be. Morgan Wallen? He doesn't mind making a farce of himself while walking directly off the stage at the closing of the last half-decade's most famous sketch comedy show. Of course, he also does not think about what harm he might cause by throwing a chair off a high rooftop onto a crowded street below.

Keith, though? He is the country music version of comedian Nate Bargatze. Just show up and entertain, but don't go out of your way to be offensive. That is not what Keith and Bargatze are about anyway. They do not get paid to upset, but to uplift.

Which is why, when Keith was recently bombarded with debris, including beer cans, at a recent show, one might rightfully ask, "What the heck was wrong with the audience?" (Maybe too much beer?)

Braxton Keith gets some unneeded hate and headphones you should buy if you could

As it turns out, the main issue might have been one person. The gig happened in Gilmer, Texas, and, according to Wide Open Country, Keith started needing to dodge beer cans about midway through his show. Another issue is that the beer got soaked people in the front rows, including children. (Someone next to the person throwing the beers might have needed to be the adult and stop the idiot.)

Keith told the crowd, "Hey, listen up, pause this (expletive). I didn't come here to get beer cans thrown at me, alright? This isn't a (expletive) Gavin Adcock concert, okay?"

Maybe Keith did not need to bring up Adcock, whoever he is. The fellow country music performer responded on social media by blasting Keith. He said, "Maybe he should learn how to handle HIS fans without bringing someone else into it. I do it every night without bringing anybody else up. Welcome to the big leagues, kid." Not a classy response.

In entirely different news, ZDNet has produced an article about wireless headphones you should get. But, to be clear, they cost a lot of money, so most people likely cannot afford them.

The headphones, made by Dali IO-8 and designed for over-the-ear use, cost more than one thousand dollars on Amazon. Still, Jack Wallen of ZDNet says, "These are, without a doubt, the best-sounding wireless headphones I've ever experienced."

In other words, buy these headphones if you have some money to burn. Otherwise, maybe pass and make your mortgage payment.
