July 4 will belong to Oasis, at least as far as the band's fans are concerned. And why shouldn't it? They've carved out a niche that few bands before them have done, and they will be honored in 2026 by being inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, whether they want to be or not.
But after being apart for far too long, the band toured again in 2025. The run of shows was filmed, too, and a new documentary will be released that covers the tour. On July 4, fans will get the first look at what the documentary looks like.
The teaser trailer will drop on YouTube at 4 pm BST, which means if you live on the East Coast of the United States, you will be able to watch the trailer soon after arriving back home from seeing some fireworks. Waiting until 11 pm ET will be worth it, even for just a teaser.
Oasis tease a teaser for something that will happen on July 4
Fans on the West Coast will get to watch the trailer before firewoks begin, as it will drop at 8 pm PT.
The band is giving fans a glimpse of the documentary of the fourth of July to mark their one-year return to being a band again. The tour that ensued was extremely successful and one of the highest-earning runs of shows by any musical artist in 2025.
That matters to the Gallagher lads, of course, because they have made a good living from creating some iconic rock songs, but they also care about how good the albums and singles are. Was their output more fulfilling for fans in the 1990s and early 2000s? Probably, but there are gems to be found on every record.
Speaking of, Oasis hasn't announced any plans to make a new album, but they are clearly OK with making music together again. Maybe the tour will lead to more shows, and hopefully, a return to the studio.
Tomorrow, celebrate one year since the return of Oasis with your first look at the new landmark documentary. The countdown is on: 👉https://t.co/vNWuIGezao pic.twitter.com/boJ7eV7y75

The group's last LP was 2008's Dig Out Your Soul, which sold more than five million units worldwide. That is, of course, a good number, but it pales in comparison to Oasis's first two albums. Their debut, Definitely Maybe, sold 16 million units, and their second record, (What's the Story) Morning Glory, sold 23 million units. Maybe the band will gift fans with another huge seller in 2027 or 2028.
